Company Description

We currently have an opening in Leawood, Kansas, for a Senior Financial Analyst reporting to the Finance Director. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide product analysis and manage the Product and Distribution database.
  • Provide quarterly support for board meetings and earnings presentations.
  • Create and maintain the epay management team recharge, including creation of the budget, monthly forecast, review of actuals and creation of intercompany agreements.
  • Create bonus targets and track quarterly achievement of bonus.
  • Update the three year forecasting model with business drivers for use during the planning cycle.
  • Analyze bad debt and provide recommendations.
  • Analyze and report working capital.
  • Provide monthly reporting (actuals vs. forecast, LOB, product dashboard) and analysis of variance reporting.
  • Provide monthly forecast analysis, facilitate forecast meetings and recommend forecast process improvements.
  • Act as a liaison between corporate and epay divisions (countries).
  • Ad hoc projects as needed.
Required & Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant finance and/or accounting experience.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel and pivot table functionality.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal) with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners.
  • Outstanding project management skills with the ability to execute on time and meet tight deadlines.
  • Team player with proven customer relationship building skills, internally and externally.
  • Ability to travel internationally - 20%.

Job Responsibilities

Key member of Euronet Corporate Finance responsible for:

  • Preparation of SEC filings including 10-K, 10-Q and finance-related 8-Ks
  • Company-wide research and interpretation of new and existing technical accounting issues
  • Interaction with independent auditors, KPMG
  • Preparation of CD&A for annual proxy
  • Development, implementation and administration of accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
  • Assisting Controller in supporting CFO and others in preparation for Board and Committee (i.e. Audit and Compensation) meetings
 
Required & Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in public accounting and/or financial reporting at a public company.

  • Undergraduate accounting degree and CPA designation preferable.  A related Master's degree would be viewed favorably.

  • Demonstrated understanding of technical interpretation and application of complex U.S. GAAP concepts, including: business combinations, revenue recognition, share-based compensation, derivatives, etc.

  • Outstanding oral and written communications skills.

  • Ability to analyze financial results quickly, often using software tools.

We currently have an opening in Leawood, Kansas, for a FINANCIAL INTERNAL AUDITOR reporting to the Audit Manager / Director of Internal Audit. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position. The position is responsible for assisting in the identification, documentation and evaluation of the Company's financial and/or operational internal controls. The position would require up to 50% travel throughout North/South America, Europe and Asia Pacific.

 

Job responsibilities:
  • Perform various audits (Sarbanes Oxley Financial, other Financial related, Operational, FCPA, or Compliance) at Corporate and subsidiary locations.  Work would include interviews/walkthroughs, audit testing, and documentation of results/deficiencies.  Must understand US GAAP and technical accounting treatment across various financial processes (i.e. cash, inventory, A/R, A/P, prepaids, fixed assets, financial statement close, revenue, accruals, expenses, etc.).

  • Assist in the preparation of board quality audit reports to Audit Committee and members of senior management.

  • Work with external auditors on the Sarbanes Oxley and substantive audit process

  • Assist in audit planning and global risk assessments.

  • Work directly with Director of Internal Audit and Audit Manager/Seniors to report results of audit reviews and testing.

  • Up to 50% travel (primarily international)
Required and Desired Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of finance and/or accounting experience (public or internal audit experience preferred)
  • College/university degree or equivalent (Accounting or Finance)

Job responsibilities:

  • Perform technical maintenance within the change management system on a regular basis to ensure databases used in distributions and point release packaging are up to date
  • Develop and test modifications required to meet the bi-annual mandate requirements of the international card associations

International Tax Manager

We currently have an opening in Leawood, Kansas for an International Tax Manager reporting to the Senior International Tax Manager. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position. There is 15% international travel required.

Job Responsibilities
  • Obtaining and developing calculations and documentation necessary to prepare and support ASC 740 tax provisions.  Candidate will obtain source documents from within the company and utilize past tax experience and analytical skills to prepare book to tax adjustments.  
  • Preparing journal entries, in both USD and foreign local currencies, as part of the consolidated world-wide ASC 740 tax provision on a legal entity basis and ensure proper presentation in financial systems.
  • Preparing tax provision to tax return reconciliation and related adjusting journal entries.
  • Analyzing non-U.S. general ledger accounts related to tax and preparing roll-forwards of deferred tax accounts.
  • Providing guidance to non-U.S. finance personnel regarding U.S. GAAP treatment of tax related issues.
  • Assisting in continuous improvement efforts related to the efficiency and effectiveness of the non-U.S. tax accounting functions.
  • Managing various projects with outsourced service providers related to non-U.S. tax compliance and advisory services as necessary.
Required & Desired Qualifications
  • Required: A minimum of 6 years tax experience in public accounting or a multinational corporate environment, at least 3 of these years working in International Taxation to be successful in this role.
  • Required: Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 740 tax accounting.
  • Required: Strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Required: Strong Microsoft Excel and Access skills.
  • Desired: CPA
  • Desired: Proficiency with Corptax Provision software.
